It occurred to me after I made my last post about allowing other people into your life that I was not doing that with this blog. I want to be able to help people realize that changing things from the inside can result in a number of amazing changes on the outside.
That won’t happen unless I share what I write with other people.
I also wrote about being able to ask other people for help about things I didn’t have experience with.
Again, I won’t be able to ask anyone anything if no one is reading this.
So I am going to let people know and hopefully I will be able to help someone. If not, they will definitely get to look at some pictures and see how my days go 🙂
Speaking of my day, I got home around 9 after stopping off at the store for an orange. Neil texted me that he felt like he may be getting sick so I immediately thought “I am going to make him the greenest smoothie ever!”
– 3 leaves of kale
– big handful of spinach
– fresh parsley
– half a can of no salt added beets (gross–neil’s idea)
– 1 cup coconut water
– 2 Tbsp chia seeds
– 1 container fruit medley baby food
Yes, you read that correctly. Neil and I about 2 years ago went through a baby food phase. We were trying to eat healthy, but he was travelling a lot for work and I didn’t have a job at the time, so I was going with him. We were staying in hotels and it was hard to have a lot of fresh produce or make any meals. So we decided that we would get our fruits and vegetables by buying LOTS of baby food.
It was actually pretty convenient and there weren’t any added ingredients in the ones we bought. I had a woman ask me at the store if my baby liked the food I was buying and I just told her yes because I didn’t want to have to explain to her that it was for two grown adults 🙂
We had some left over that we never finished, so I decided that it would be good to use them up in our smoothies:
