Happy Wednesday! This What I Ate Wednesday is going to be a hodge podge of my eats from the weekend, so be prepared for little to no continuity. I ate more random foods this weekend and loved every second of it. It’s not every day that you get farm fresh pork and chicken to devour!

In a (somewhat) atypical move, I did not have scrambled eggs and mushrooms every morning for breakfast this weekend. We went to IHOP on Saturday where I had an OMELET with eggs and mushrooms (and onions, spinach, peppers, and tomatoes).
Here are two random lunches: one from Wegmans and one from my chaotic chopping and compiling of random vegetables.
Wegmans: mixed greens, asparagus, zucchini w/ BASIL and tomato, mushrooms, some kind of quinoa/kale cake. It was pretty awesome.
My compilation: mixed greens, onion, tomato, kabocha squash, cabbage, carrots
Friday night Neil and I went to dinner with my dad who is in the process of moving from MO to here. We ate at Doner Bistro and it was delicious as always. A doner is similar to shawarma or a gyro. Check out the site for more info. Here is their trademark Doner:
Sunday was the cookout at the farm and I had all of this to choose from:
I made sure to have some grilled chicken, pork, fish, my cabbage creation (below), and blueberry crisp. I may have left something out since I went up about 3 or 4 times for different courses. Delicious!
I didn’t know where to put these, but I had pictures of them on my phone so here are some smoothies I had this weekend (plus essential espresso)
